1. Charles Spurgeon said: "Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the valleys, because we are afraid to climb the mountains. We do not know what glories await if only we had courage for the mountain climb. What blessings we would find in the mountains of God! Too low they build who build beneath the stars." How does this speak to you personally?
2. What is the hardest thing for you to believe about who you are, that God says you are? Why?
3. What is the hardest thing for you to believe that you can do, that you sense God is calling you to do? Why?
4. Pastor Paul had us look at three kings who didn't get what God had for them:
Saul (he didn't have a sense of destiny, and it kept him from taking a risk) 1 Sam 14:1-3,
Asa (he didn't have a sense of destiny, and it kept him from seeking God) 2 Chron 16:11-13
Jehoash (he didn't have a sense of destiny, and it kept him from having passion) 2 Kings 13:14-19.
Which of these speaks to you the loudest, and why?
