Praise and Worship In Zion

Romans 5:17
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Psalm 48:1-3
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
In the city of our God, His holy mountain.
2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth,
Is Mount Zion in the far north,
The city of the great King.
3 God, in her palaces,
Has made Himself known as a stronghold.

The Ark of the Covenant was the centerpiece is the seat of worship.

1 Peter 2:6
For this is contained in Scripture:
“Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

2 Samuel 6:13-18
12 Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, on account of the ark of God.” David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with gladness. 13 And so it was, that when the bearers of the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fatling. 14 And David was dancing before the Lord with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouting and the sound of the trumpet. 16 Then it happened as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.
17 So they brought in the ark of the Lord and set it in its place inside the tent which David had pitched for it; and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. 18 When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offering, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts.

Luke 9:23
And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.

Kelly Varner, have you fallen through the grate yet?
It's supper time, time for the Feast of Tabernacle, the main meal. Don't sip, sup. Don't pick at your plate. The menu includes barbequed YOU. You can come like a stuck pig or a little lamb, but you must come. God can tie you down or you can just lie quietly. He has two ways to cook a believer/priest: the “tie” method or the “lie” method.

The fire of God's Spirit, and the fuel of God's Word, must ignite you the sacrifice. When you have been completely consumed, you will fall through the grate. The last thing to drop through is your head with all of its carnal reasoning, common sense, and every high thing that exalts self against the knowledge of God. But guess what, when all that pertains to our self-life falls out as ashes, He gives beauty for ashes, and oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

Psalm 9:11
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion;
Declare among the peoples His deeds.

Psalm 48:11
Let Mount Zion be glad,
Let the daughters of Judah rejoice
Because of Your judgments.

Psalm 99:2-3
The Lord is great in Zion, and He is exalted above all the peoples. Let them praise Your great and awesome name; Holy is He.

Isaiah 35:10
And the ransomed of the Lord will return
And come with joyful shouting to Zion,
With everlasting joy upon their heads.
They will find gladness and joy,
And sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Acts 15:15-17
With this the words of the Prophets agree, just as it is written,

16 ‘After these things I will return, and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen,
and I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it,
17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,’

Psalm 2:6-11

“But as for Me, I have installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
7 “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron,
You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”

10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;
Take warning, O judges of the earth.
11 Worship the Lord with reverence
And rejoice with trembling.
