The Children’s Ministry at GCF is the premiere ministry of the church. Leaders from nations around the world have come to study this model, so they can implement it in their network of churches back in their countries. The Westminster Catechism states, “The chief aim of man is to glorify God, and enjoy him forever.” We couldn’t agree more, and these two truths are foundational to the Children’s Ministry.
Jana has grown up in the Grace church network, attending GCF Wharton from age 6. She believes God's Holy Spirit is no different in a child than He is in an adult. Children are fully capable of knowing God in a real and deep way and of being used powerfully by Him. Jana is passionate to impart these truths to children and to see God's character being formed in them as they grow in their relationships with Him.
Jana has served as a Sunday school teacher at GCF Wharton and currently serves both as a Sunday school teacher and as the children's pastor at GCF West. Additionally, worship has been a passion of hers from an early age; she currently plays the keyboard on the worship team at GCF West.
Jana earned her bachelor's degree in piano performance from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She also received a Master's of Library Science from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
